Easy Like Sunday....Kassey

I was having a good easy. But you know who couldn't resist flashing me.

Not The First Time....ewwwooo, etc.

We've heard of  spiders visiting our open mouths.
Well last night I believe that must have been what
happened and it has occurred before. I
remember feeling like a wad of hair was in my
throat. If I could yak it up...well, I'd rather not look
at the leggy little beast. I hate those things so I just
swallow and drink water. I haven't seen these things
this Spring yet, so I'm wondering where  they're hiding.
Guess I'll have to sic Kassey on 'em. or sleep in a mask.

I hope everyone is having a soothing Sunday afternoon.
Kassey has been in her cube most of this cloudy day.
I put together her fountain again today. She does like
it better than a bowl. It's a task for me to disassemble
it and Andy had to do it. This way it gets a better wash-
ing.

I've been eating leftovers from supper yesterday evening.
I had pinto beans,corn on the cob,kale and cornbread for
breakfast and for lunch...mmm good eatin. Hey, I've eaten
left over spaghetti and pizza for breakfast, not together of
course. OK, nuff of this.

Quite Sunday Catchup.....Kassey

Our family have gone home to TN. My Brofur has to work tonight so they left a little
earlier than usual. Mom is always lonely when the quite sets in. But they'll be back sometime.

Mom is proud of me for being cordial most of the time. Every time my Brofur went to the
fud room, I would too. I really like him cuz he's good to me. He opened my bedroom
window so I could get some whiffies. And he opened the other windows too so I got whiffies
everywhere. He decided to sleep in the living-room with the kids instead of the bed. I decided
to sleep in my room.

It's such a nice breezy day and warm and I hope all my furriends are enjoying their Sunday
and getting plenty of whiffies.

Mom worries too much about my comfort. And she was happy to see how comfy I was napping

in my little cube. Maybe she can relax now.

Pleasant Rainy Sunday,Kassey Proof....HAH
Yesterday, I uncluttered Kassey's favorite corner, almost
made it 'Kassey Proof', wishful thinking. I now have the
'printer table' hugging the wall. And filled boxes sur-
rounding the bottom of the table, blocking her com-
pletely to the battery wire. I moved the TV and Antenna
to the opposite wall. I covered the Battery and my 'puter
wires with those rubber covered wire thingys. Of course,
it's been another battle with the surge protector and the
TV wire again. Now, it has a wire thingy over it. I also had
to cover the buttons on the printer. Before the re-arranging,
I made my early morning coffee and missed Kassey. She was
just sitting there by the printer table and looked at me when
I came back in the bedroom. I asked her if she was gonna
start that again....lol Come on, I told her and she followed
me to the kitchen for her B'fast and my coffee. She really
tickles me at times, such a good companion.
So now, this is Sunday, my favorite day, and Kassey is watch-
ing this glorious rain, sure hope it rains all day, so relaxing.
I have to wonder what's she's plotting, cuz, I know she won't
give up on all my efforts to keep her precious self away from
these wires.

Sunday Afternoon Delight

While Kassey got her nap,I went to the kitchen

to whip up some Blueberry pancakes,a delight

to eat.I followed the recipe some,but as usual,

I did my own thing.In stead of sugar, I used

Honey.I didn't have Buttermilk,so I used what

Sweet Milk I had and added a dollop of Yogurt

amount to the Sweet Milk to equal the amount

called for.The mixture was quite thick even

before I added the Blueberries.The Yogurt I

used was Strawberry Activia.

This is the Waffle Recipe that I use,but used

my frying pan instead of the Waffle iron.

1 C. Plain Flour, 1-1/4 tsp. Baking Powder

1/2 C. Yellow Cornmeal, 1/4 tsp. Soda

1/4 C. Sugar, 1/4 tsp Salt

Mix all dry stuff

In another bowl :

1-1/4 C. Buttermilk

4 Tblsp. Butter(melted)

2 Large Eggs

1 C. Blueberries, more or less.

1 Tsp Vanilla

Mix all together and get cookin'.

This has been my Sunday Afternoon Delight.

Kassey woke and came to the kitchen to see

what Mom was doing. She's with me now and

she wants something.
