I came in to her office as she was on the puter. I was meowing
and just wanting company for a snack. And then she told me that
she might be going to TN Son's for Thanksgiving and she asked me
if it was OK. Well at the moment, I didn't care to have this conver-
sation as I needed a snack before my nap. As any cat, I do not care
to be left alone overnight..This means I'll have to eat alone and I'll
sure miss her if she goes. She will leave the blinds up so I can watch
people outside. Our neighbor is expecting her family for Thanksgiving.
I'll be so lonely and I hope they wave to me as I speak to them. Mom
says they're all dog people, but that shouldn't matter. It's not like they'll
be unfaithful while they speak or wave to a lonely kitty.
'God willing 'as Mom says, if she goes to TN Son's, I 'll post an update
with some photos if she uses her flashy box.
I know it will be lonely for you while Mom is gone. You just remember it is for a short time. She loves you too much to leave you alone for long.

We think your Mom needs to leave you with triple extra snax if she goes away...it's only fair.
ReplyDeleteYour Mom will miss you too, but it's only an over nighter and you will be just fine. Just think of all the fuss and cuddles you will get when your Mom comes back home. Now be good and don't give her the 'cold' treatment when she comes home, she'll be needing those cuddles from you too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're not getting my updates. I've checked my setting and everyting looks good from my ends, so can't figure out what's wrong. I've asked Arlene if she's getting them too. I don't know what else to do about it really. But maybe if it's a glitch of some kind, you could just check in on my blog, I' blogging almost everyday, so most likely there will be something new.
ReplyDeleteps: we've had snow, (I know you like the snow and I'd gladly send it to you if I could) lol. It's cold here with the wind chill and I'm hybernating as I don't do cold and snow very well at all.
Kassey, I wish you could come to TN too and stay with ME. That's where *I* live. We could lay in sun puddles till your mom comes to pick you up. Wanna?

(I'm sure you are not interested, so back to you....:>)I have just come back from My daughter's home in Glencoe AL. It is so pretty there. You must really enjoy looking out your window!

ReplyDeleteI hope that some way or another this ends up being a thanksgiving that will be a blessing even to those of the furry sort that have to endure momentary inconveniences. It's not right but what's a kitty to do?

ReplyDeleteOh Miss Kassey, we're so very sorry you are going to be abandoned. Our mom is staying home for Thanksgiving, but she'll probably leave us for 2 nights at Christmas while she goes to visit her mom and brother. We don't like it much, but she doesn't do it often, so we forgive her pretty quickly.

Just think Kassey you can spend all day sleeping without being disturbed, and i am sure the people who come and go next door will wave at you at least, though i am not sure it is safe to leave the curtains not drawn after all as you know it is no problem for you to creep behind them and just think of all the goodies she will bring you not only to eat but maybe to play with as well
