Mom bought one of those things she called a pitcher to
clean our dirty water. So now she has turned off my bathroom
running water that I loved so much. And now I can drink only
from a bowl. As a cat who wants running water, I do not like this.
Maybe I'll drink it if I have to. She's been drinking it all day so it
can't be too bad..I'll just get on the recliner back and wait for Tn
Son and his Family to arrive She won't like that cuz it has no cover.
I wonder if they'll have to drink the clean water....just wondering.
It snowed again today, but the humans said the roads were clear,
good thing cuz Mom worries.
Everyone has gathered tonight at 3 Sons Dad's and Stepmom. Mom
is getting things ready cuz TN Son and Family may spend the night here.
That's about it for now.

Kassey, maybe if you purr very softly and ask your mommy for one of these fountains, she might buy one for you. Look at this, Kassey:

Check out the ratings, GREAT ratings
xoxoxo
If forgot to tell you, Kassey, that it uses a wonderful filter and those need to be replaced about ever 2-3 months, not weeks, MONTHS. Worth every penny.
ReplyDeleteOh Miss Kassey, we're so sorry you lost your running water. My brother at the Bridge, Snuggles, used to LOVE to drink from the bathroom sink. He would sit up there and wait for my mom to turn it on, and then he would drink and drink and drink. My mom bought us a Drinkwell fountain, and I love it, but he still preferred the tap water. Boys are weird though. We hope the Tn son arrives soon so he can fuss over you (and your mom can stop worrying, cuz they all do that, you know).
ReplyDeleteLove, Fuzzy
YES! It's the Drinkwell fountain that I sent the link to! Ooooooo, you'll love it :D

ReplyDeleteMy one is just a normal bowl too but I got my mom to change everyday ( Whisper...I trained her well, don't I ? ) If I want the water movement while drinking , I just have to use " My Magic Paws "
ReplyDeleteDip one of my paw in the bowl up and down till got the ripple then it's ready for drink : )
Hope you like my DIY : )
Don't worry Miss Kassey! You'll train that human yet! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteI think that "JennyD's" idea was a GREAT ONE!
ReplyDeleteGG, just saw your note on my page and I want to thank you for "getting" my sense of humor, lol. Not many people do and so many times they think I'm being serious. Well, all the things I wrote were true, but to me, I laughed all the way through hearing those reports to begin with. Something about them just cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteHaving that white Christmas was really something, wasn't it. Did Kassey notice it and watch out the window? My 2 didn't really care until the birds were so close that they could almost shoot a paw through the screen and "pat" one, lol.
Kassey watched the snow, but wasn't as excited as I was...lol
ReplyDeleteShe now has her tap water back on, needless to say, it's her way or else, until I get her a fountain. She refused to drink the bowl water.
I feel for you, lol. I'd turn the water back on, too. My Sam refused to drink from a bowl for about 6 yrs, can you believe it. He'd ONLY drink from MY bathroom glass on top of the counter. I tried buying a glass just for him, but he knew it and refused and went back to mine. But, when I moved to this house now, he won't get up on the bathroom counter because he "thinks" the little rug under it all is going to eat him up or something. He skirts around that rug like it was alive. So, long story short, he now drinks out of a bowl on the bathroom floor but nowhere near the rug. It's all crazy in this house.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your Drinkwell fountain Kassey. If you do, tell me about it. Maybe I can get Mommy to get ME one too.
ReplyDeleteMommy is just taking good care of you Kassey!
ReplyDeleteAt least there's electricity and heat! Count your blessings, even if you can't drink from the running water.
ReplyDeleteMom just wants the best for you Kassey.
ReplyDeleteKassey, I hope you and your family had a Wonderful Christmas celebration.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year from Southern California. No snow here but a lot of flooding and record breaking rain! :-(
God Bless You, ~Ron :-)

Kassey we are sorry that your running water had to go away - that stinks! But we do understand your mom wanting you to have nice clean water - we have a fountain so our water is both running and clean - they usually have a nice filter in them too. So our water is really cleaner than our mom's - maybe you can get one too, for the best of both worlds!
ReplyDeleteYou are one spoiled cat, getting your tap turned on LOL you've got your Mum well and truly under your thumb haven't you? Tango likes to drink from the hose when the flowers are being watered, but that's for a bit of fun, it doesn't get left there for him,\but dogs just take whatever's handed out. cats get their own way in the end. it would be a water bowl or nothing, it made me laugh though.
ReplyDeleteOne of my boys love to dring running water. He also likes to play with it. He does not like bath, but by playing with water, he gets really wet. We had snow, too. It was White Christmas. Kassey, I wish you and your mom enjoy family gathering and your tap water :-) Stay warm and be safe!!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I don't have a cat comment... Maybe I can share in your antics Kassey, you are very cute and smart! What part of TN are the boys from? I'm in Kingsport. ~Jan
ReplyDeleteNot to worry there Kassey, your tap will be turned on again for you. My cats love the water from a running tap also, much more fun!
ReplyDeleteUntil we get the Drinkwell fountain, I will be drinking from the tap cuz Mom noticed I wasn't drinking her water.....Pfffsssttt.
ReplyDeleteKassey
found my way here...seems to be where everyone is landing...happy new year to the two of you...
