It’s a blessed morning here with my faithful cat close by.
She got me up about 7:15 after persisting in her catly way.
We have cold temps here in Dixie, 33 degrees and I guess
my flowers will be caput. I started bringing them in(just one
oblong pot) and placing them on the top of an organizer, Big
mistake as I saw this tiny bug, so out they went.
All for now, gotta make breakfast. God-willing, we’ll see y’all later.

That is the worst part about bringing a plant in from outside, their visitors come with them. I hope you and Kassie have a great weekend.

ReplyDeletethe few plants we has on our enclosed porch (mom has a black thumb) don't get much inna way of bugs, so they get to come in when it's cold. it was 27 night befur last, so dad brung 'em in an' hung 'em inna living room. he got the woodstove cranked up fur the first time this season, an' they are happy now! so is mom--she kin toast her undies befur she puts 'em on!! she sez simple pleasures are the best!

ReplyDeleteCats are the best alarm clocks ever. Pooh wakes me every morning. I only have one plant that I bring in, so far I have seen no critters in the pot or on the plant. It has been frosty here the last couple of mornings. Hugs and nose kisses for you and Kassey from all of us.

We had our first freeze a few nights ago. Then this weekend it decided to be 80 degrees again. I think, though, that this was the last hurrah, and autumn will be here for good starting tomorrow. We hope you and Kassey had a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize it got that cold in the south, I'm up on the 49th parallel and we've been nowhere near freezing yet. It was a real fall day here today though, and a couple of days ago people were out in Capri's, sandals and short sleeves. Still they tell us we're in for a cold and wet one this winter. :p
