Yesterday Kassey only had 2 pee balls 12 hours apart.
So she went to the Vet's this AM for IV fluids. I called
2 hours later after I got home. They said she was doing
OK. She also said the Vet wanted to keep her overnight
to be sure she was OK after receiving the fluids.
I sure miss my little girl and I know she must miss her Mom.

I am so sorry that you and Kassey are going through this.
ReplyDeleteHUGS for you both.
Hang in there, Kassey kittie. ppuurrrrrrsss
ReplyDeleteShe will be glad to get home! You can give her fluids at home too. Its not as hard as it seems, but it is easier with 2 people. If the fluids help, you might want to ask the vet about it.
ReplyDeleteI gave one of my kitties fluids at home 3 or 4 times a week for a couple of years. He didn't really mind it at all! The only hard part was keeping him entertained for the 7 or 8 minutes it took for the "infusion." Other than getting the fluids, he lived a totally normal life and felt fine.
ReplyDeleteKassey may not need that, of course, but if she does, don't be afraid to give it a go!
I know she will be thrilled to come home to you XOXOXOXO
((hugs)) and purrayers fur both of you!
ReplyDeleteContinued purrs to you and Kassey. We hope she's home early today!
ReplyDeleteBTW, just as an aside, Derry often holds his pee for 24 hours. He's even held it for an hour or so longer. I keep track. I'd consider myself lucky if he peed every 12 hours on a regular basis. And there's nothing wrong with his kidneys...at least not yet! :-)
Sending good thoughts!
