  1. That's either the biggest yawn we've ever seen or else you're yelling, "WHERE'S MY STEPS!"

  7. Well, GG, I hope your luck was better than mine. I found some steps, cheap, from Walgreens. After the instructions of "so easy a child could do it", I finished putting them together 45 min later. Sheesh. Sam won't use them. I have teased, I have cajoled, I've even put him right on them and walked him up -- he hates them. Well, I'll let them sit beside the bed and see what happens. My bet is, nothing. What he DID love was the new feather wand which he has now hidden. Dying to hear what Kassey thinks of her steps when you find them.

  8. I hope your not yelling at mom. No, I'm sure your not. Just telling her how much you like that spot.

  9. Just bought food this evening after the temps got up some. Walmart didn't have the steps.
Jenny D, I didn't know you had to assemble them.

  10. Well, the "cheap" steps ($10) at Walgreens says to pull them into position (sort of like part of an accordian) and then snap on these other little parts and a stabilizer on the back, and then slide the little cover over them. So here's how it really went: they didn't pull apart, they fell apart and I had to put them together again. Thought I'd lose my mind. I have a bunch of ties holding those parts together now but it's stable. I did see in a catalogue a much more expensive but better made wooden set with a cover but I didn't want to spend the money until I saw how he'd like it. You know the answer to that. Darn it. I'm starting to think that Toodie's idea wasn't so bad. Tack on some old carpet to the ramp and there you have it. Let me know how it all works for you and Kassey.
