Not Convinced...........Kassey

Mom first put it in the kitchen, but I showed no interest. So after TN Son and the Grands left, Mom
moved it to my bathroom. She placed it in several different places. Now she has it on the floor
by her litter box(commode) with water in it. My water has been turned off again and I guess if I get thirsty,
I'll have to drink from this new thing.........Kassey

  2. Try this. First, definitely move it away from the litter box. That's not the most delectable place. Put it nearer to where she would normally drink but also add a little bowl of water next to it. She'll see that there is water in both but she'll notice that the fountain is running like she likes in the sink. Give it some days. Remember, it took me a whole yr to break Sam of it. Keep updating us; I'm dying to hear as the time goes on. XOXOXO

  3. A few minutes ago, I put a bowl down in the kitchen, but she refused it. She and I went to the BR and she sat on the counter waiting for me to turn on the water. I pointed to the fountain and she jumped down and drank from it. Her litter box isn't close to it,it was my (litterbox with water in it.)where her fountain is. I just put it there cuz it's closer to the sink. I will move it to the other side since she has had a taste....GGB

  4. I wouldn't put it by the litter box either. I would be afraid of dust and litter getting in it.

I just read your response...good! Hope it isn't by the litter!

Since she drank from it once she will more than likely drink from it again :)

  5. I hope she is starting to drink from it soon. I agree by the litter box is not the place for it.

  7. We hope you'll get used to it in time, Kassey. Our mom got a fountain for us and when she first turned it on it scared us!

  8. My mommy got a fountain for ME too, on the day I came home from the Vet hospital. I told her it was there to murder me. I heard its evil sound and I refused to try! Mommy had to take it up till I get all better. Then, I know she'll try again!

  9. Oooooo, I saw she TRIED it! Great news! She'll go back to it again now, and one of these days soon, she'll be not only drinking from it but probably dousing her foot or a toy in it, too :D
That was very good news, GG

  10. I'm sorry I wasn't clear in the post. Kassey was calling my commode a litter box with water. They are so observant and miss little.
